Anyone know how the ice indicator on the rear view mirror works.
It's been cold here lately (below freezing) and sometimes it comes on, sometimes it doesn't. Is it tied to the traction control or just the temp?

My understanding is that it is strictly temperature. It is an indicator that temperatures are in the range where ice is possible. It has no way of knowing if ice is actually present.lanman1 said:Anyone know how the ice indicator on the rear view mirror works.?It's been cold here lately (below freezing) and sometimes it comes on, sometimes it doesn't. ?Is it tied to the traction control or just the temp?
