how bout retractable tie down straps? retracts into the side of the bed kinda like a seatbelt.

Backup light upgrade option: this is a big truck, and the light from the standard bulbs is barely adequate under the best of conditions.

Interesting to see this one... Way back before we launched, I had gotten a complaint from the Assistant Cheif Engineer about the back up lamps. Not sure what the hell he was talking about, but I indulged him with an evaluation at 5:00am. He stated that the lamps do not provide enough light when he backs up.

Apparently the intention of rear lighting is not understood by may people (even engineering management). I unfortunately had to let him down easy when I told him that the lamps are not for him, they are for the person behind you - they are a signal lamp. I showed him the photometric data for the lamps that show that they are at max intensity for most test points.

Sorry, but this item will most likely not see any improvement.
