If You Could Pick One Favorite ECRM Moment...

You guys ROCK!!!!!!! I just went to the East Coast website, and checked out EVERY pic. What FUN!!!!!! How cool would it have been to see all those AV's ROLL'N down the highway into town. One thing I loved. Under the MODS WON section. Someone has the Winking Yellow Bowtie. I love it. I have a red AV, and I think it would look good. Where can I get one? PM me

Contact carriles, he makes them......I'm thinking about what I might want on a bowtie, he said he can make whatever you want!

GoldBowTie,
IM me your name and address.
I'll mail you out a raffle prize.
It's not quite the same as the anticipation at the cookout, but it's a little something.
Sorry you missed the cookout and the raffle.
The rain situation kinda confused things a bit.

My favorites:

Singing David Allen Coe's "You Never Even Called Me By My Name" w/ TexAvFan & Conwayavalancher. We were singing so loud the Front Desk came up and told us to turn down the music... >:D

Throwing Kim in the pool and then convincing her that I'd help her out and pushing her right back in.

Seeing 41 AV's go past me so I could bring up the rear, what a sight.

But my one favorite was finally meeting so many wonderful people who were already friends. (y)

I've got two of them:

1. ?When the cruise was over and me and a few others ?went looking for mud and had our own little adventure. ?That was fun what we did to that guys front yard! ?

2. ?When we got back from the cruise we took the drinks, coolers, chairs and headed out to the parking lot and just drank, told jokes, and just didn't have a care in the world. ?What I didn't like was the fact that some people...(EDWARD!) were going to take my truck and park it around the building and make me think that I lost it!......(yes..I was that drunk to think that!)

Yeah what he said ;) Also, I enjoyed meeting everyone and getting a chance to know folks on a different level.

I can honestly say that I was in favor of taking your truck Conway >:D but we weren't just gonna hide it, we were gonna take it mudding then hide it >:D  >:D

I posted some pics of the pool party, including one of the infamous bikini (hope ya don't mind Wonder). You can see them here. David, if you wanna pull these down and put them over on the regionals site that would be cool. They are just too big to email to you.

I almost forgot the happy ;D feeling I got after I dried my wet (rain-soaked) underwear under the "hands-dryer" at the picnic area bathroom. Nice and toasty.

I also think that the "Avalanche Concerto in B Minor" should be a requirement for every cruise/GTG.

well its a toss up on that one ;)

We have several contenders
A) the concerto in the mountains
B) LRNerd's demonstration of the subsolutions box
C) Conway's 2 am country music demonstration in the parking lot.

C problably got the largest police interest >:D
B was pretty dang impressive
A was probably the loudest overall but I dunno, its close ;D

oh yeah I almost forgot....how I dont know BUT

I should have included Conway's exhaust >:D lord knows EVERYONE IN PF heard it at least once ? >:D>:D

Or maybe Bigblock and Boo raising hell in the tunnels on the cruise up the mountain? that was pretty loud as well ;D ;D

I don't think you can ever say enough about this past weekend. This being my first GTG I don't know how things could have been any better. It was great to meet everyone and to put faces with screennames. I liked the relaxed enviroment everyone was in, although the rain sucked it didn't seem to bother anyone at all.

There is nothing better than everyone hanging out in the parking lot talking about AVs at 1 in the morning with Cops watching everything your doing.

My one question is did no one else get the memo?

It looks like Tinman and myself did. We were waiting on everyone else but you never showed up. Check out the attached picture.

We waited in the parking lot for you guys. The parking lot was a little bigger with only 2 Avs around

PS ? ?Was the Concerto the loudest moment?
We would have to plan the "concerto" for another location, say the hotel parking lot. Biltmore would give us the book for sure.

Having witnessed all of the "loud moments" I would have to agree that the "concerto" was in fact the loudest moment"
Ready to do it again!?

I agree with A & B for sure.

C is kinda like my life--I bailed out 15 minutes too early.

1. Seeing the lead AV heading up the mountain after going around one of the KYA turns while we were still down at the bottom.

2. Erecting "Tent City" in a downpour only to be told by the Rangers that we had to take it down. (If they could have just told us a little sooner)

3. Sunday evening in Gatlinburg with the "clan" on the patio at the Mexican Restaurant having a few drinks and watching the world go by. Then walking thru town and doing the "carts" before catching the trolley and calling it a night.

>Watching conway hop up on some coolers (and almost fall) and yell to everyone that Wiki was gonna play planetav's song to TexAVFan...it was raining, just not rainin' men :cautious:

Actually it was Wiki playing a song (It's raining men) for planetav....you just had to be there to catch the joke! (y)

Another favorite moment was when we were moving the social hour part deux to the parking lot and we loaded the cooler into A.J.'s AV and everyone jumped up onto A.J.'s AV!
