Next stop - 6" suspension lift by RCD and a set of beachin' wheels and tires

I'm looking forward to getting together with the other SoCal Av'ers this Sunday!

My thanks to everyone here - you've all been very helpful and I hope you'll continue as I have many questions (Gandolphxxx has been quite supportive and I think about making my 2500 a lot like his but lifted

I'm going to get my Av lifted ASAP ;D but before I do, I need to select wheels and tires (can't have it lifted without having the wheels and tires ready to be installed).

Question: ??? how do I shop for wheels? What I mean is how do I find wheels to choose from? I'm going to run 35" tires (35 x 12.50) - do I use 16" or 17" 8-lug wheels?

I understand I need I can go 4 5/8" backspacing, MAXIMUM. :0:

But the question is, what are my 8-lug wheel choices - wheels and manufacturers - how do I find pics of wheels so I can narrow my choices and make a final decision? :D I need to get this done ASAP - I want my 2500 to be taller (not as tall as the beast I saw on this forum today, that's for sure!).

Thanks for any and all help you can provide!

I bet you feel good DAN.....

No go out and drive it! :B:

Here is another great place to look. Tirerack.com. Your able to pic the color of your AV and then choose a tire to match your liking then it displays the AV with the tires on it. pretty cool chooices.

Weld and Evo and Centerline Wheels both have good websites and would make a fine place to start. The Centerlines and Weld Evo line are very well made and finished. Good luck and happy modding! Don't forget to post pictures!

Congratulations Magic Mountain.

I guess that big black beast will be crusin' the Magic Mountain area, now, Huh?

;D

Welcome to the wonderful world of Av ownership!!
