I ordered my rims and tires today!
Getting 22" VCT Gitano Scarface and Nitto NT 404 Extreme 305/45 22's.
The owner of the shop said that he has installed a lot of 305/45 22's on Avalanches and there shouldn't be a problem. If they don't fit for any reason he will replace them with 305/40 22's for free! Can't beat that. I paid $2,535 for the whole package mounted, balanced, chrome lugs, chrome wheel locks, and chrome valve stems.

Also got my Diablosport Predator today and ordered my Flowmaster 70 series big block muffler in preparation for my dual exhaust install (as soon as I get the tips).

I can't freakin' wait!

Purrrrrrdy . . . when can I see them in person?
Once I get them on and I can find some free time (wife works nights, I work days, I watch the kids while she works she watches the kids while I work - hard to find any time for anything :E: :E: :E:except modding in the driveway of course >:D)

Got my rims!
I can't believe the difference they make.
My truck looks like a completely different animal now!

Haven't recalibrated yet. I'll do that after I get the exhaust tomorrow morning. I only had time to take it around the block (it took me 2 1/2 hours to get them mounted with all of the kids and neighbors asking me about them every 10 minutes!) rides better than stock if you ask me. Not as much roll on turns and a more solid contact with the road feel. Might have some slight rubbing on the rear plastic of the front wheelwell but only when I was pulling sharply out of the driveway and hit the curb. I will give them a good test tomorrow, the exhaust shop is about 35 minutes from me.

Look sweet! . . . makes the stock brakes look really small >:D
Thanks!
Yeah they do look small, but I talked to a couple of gearheads and they said all I really need to do is get better pads (Hawk) and they should be fine.

Nice looking wheels! Does make the truck look totally different. BTW, what is that on the groove in the doors?

Thanks Guys!
Any luck with your rims and tires Dave?

It's chrome wheelwell guard, $8.00 for a roll (Auto Zone) and it just sticks on with the omnipresent 3M tape.
