You might get away with removing the pinstripe and buffing it out. They make a rubber wheel for removing decals that does a good job.

When you attend a GTG you will see a lot of the things that we have done to our Avalanches and find some tips & tricks, maybe we can help with that leaky 2nd panel seal! Hi Jenifer, glad to have you aboard, welcome to the club.  As far as a pinstripe guy, good lord its been so long the ones I knew from years ago have all passed, lol.  However you can take them off yourself with a hair dryer or heat gun ,just be careful, then aftewards use some gummy stuff like goof off or the like to remove any risidual glue.  Yes find a inconspicuous spot to try the remover on first, you might be surprised about the matching and like it without pinstripes!  Your husband is an awesome man and we thank him for his service in this time of uncertainty.  Hope to see you at a GTG soon.

Hey everyone, my name is Josh Bramer and I live in South Bend, IN.  I just bought a 2004 Avy and decided to join this site.  I LOVE IT...I'm new to all of this.  I have done a few mods...Leveling kit with 33in tires, DVD Player, Air intake, and looking to do more when the funds are available...Please wifey let me have some money for my toys!  Thanks for all the great forums.

You will find a lot of information here & we do hold GTG (get togethers), as a matter of fact there is one next weekend in Lincoln State Park, right in your back yard! If you can, come on out and meet some members and see what they are doing to their trucks. You can click the calendar in my SIG to find a GTG in our region.

Welcome to the club!!  I'm in Jasper - only a hop-skip and a jump away from Evv...I've got an 07 LTZ myself...my second AV.  Sorry we missed you this weekend in Lincoln State park, but I hope we see you at a GTG soon.  Maybe I'll plan one for your area so we can get to meet you!
