Installed a backup cam.  So tired of getting in and out to see if the trailer is lined up.  Went with wireless because I was too lazy to run a hardwire cable into the cab.
Interestingly, there is a reverse lamp hot wire in the mirror assembly.  Made it easy for keeping the cables clean and not have to access the headliner.

Haha...I have mine in the same place....and for the same reason...because I pull a trailer almost daily and lining it up is a pain without it! lol

Looks great.  I installed one in my "new" 02 a couple of weekends, ago.  I did the double din Pioneer fancy stereo, so I have the screen on my stereo.  Being able to back up within an inch of my trailer makes me smile like a fool, when hooking up.

I know you did the wireless, but for those looking at this wondering about running the lines to the rear, I snapped on an easy method.  There are a lot of "holes in the frame, in the back, and all the way along, to the front.  I ran my plumbers snake (the small handheld on a wheel) from a hole near the drain plug at the front passenger seat.  The snake pooped out back at the back bumper.  Attached my camera cables to the end of the snake, and easily pulled everything back to the front.  I even loomed the wire.  So with the loom, and being inside the frame rail, I think I am good to go.

Enjoy your new view, I am sure digging mine....

What wire is it in the mirror? I want one of these for backing to my boat too. Been looking at a wireless one with a 3.5" screen. Not sure if that'll be big enough. What do you guys have size wise?

Yes, suction cup mounted.  The screen is pretty light weight, we'll see how long it stays there.
I'll be getting a double din with video inputs soon - maybe this xmas if there is a good sale.

How is quality with the wireless input? I've heard mixed reviews. Just ordered my cam/screen with a 32ft cord . But the wireless route is pretty appealing
