I installed my Hawk brake pads and diamond cut slotted rotors today. I purchased them through a group buy that was posted on this site by Bonedog.

I had to do some touch up on my calipers. I painted them a couple of weeks ago.

The install went fairly easy and I needed to do it today since I have a break in the rainy weather.

When I took the pics, the front pic was on one side then the rear pic was from the opposite side. Each rotor is stamped with a R or L. I installed them properly.

So, you ended up doing all four? I really like the red calipers (y).

They look awsome, but how do the stop the beast? Say like a panic stop from 65 MPH? I picked 65 MPH because I know you ride the GSP, and would never push past the Posted Limit.

By the way what happend with the gig in Long Branch?

The new pads and rotors stop my beast with ease.

As far as the gig in Long Branch, I was layed off first week of May due to lack of work.

I gave you Good Karma for you brother.

I got my dimond cut rotors a week and 1/2 ago and I'm still waiting for the pads that were back ordered. :8: :E: :8:

Any idea how hard it is looking at those rotors and not being able to install them?

So does the pedal feel a lot firmer now? Does the pedal go down as far as it used to go?

Butch

Looking good, LV. If one might call the Dark Lord of the Sith "LV".

Since you posted this thread i keep seeing questions asking about where and how so I made that a quick link and saved it so I can post it at a drop of a hat.

Wait, this guy was going to cancel the group deal because people were calling him for shipping/tracking info? Did I read that right?

Nice mod, what about the lines anyone upgraded to SS or kevlar for less expansion or is it overkill.
