I don't know if I installed these right but they're on and they're staying this way. What a pain in the butt trying to make sure they were straight.

Oh - the reflection of the house and flag is compiments of Maguirs Gold Class products.

They look good.

Is that a harley I see in the picture?

What no ZAINO and from New Jersey. What do you know that we don't?

Thanks, I wasn't sure about the black with the grey cladding.

I picked them up at one of the Chevy dealers on the way home from work. They're in the Av accessories catalog, page 2, part # 12497961 - $12.00 / pair.

You mean this little thing?

No, it's not a Harley - it's slightly bigger than they are. It's Honda's newest bad boy - the VTX 1800 cc twin.
with a few mods it's 100 hp 112 f/p torque

As for what do I know?? Nothing and all my friends will attest to that. I just washed it this morning. Hasn't been waxed since the first week in August.

I've been using Maguires products for years. Never had a complaint about any of them.

Oh man I love that VTX. I went this past summer and looked at a used VTX that had 900 miles on it. I wanted it so bad. But alas I had to let it go. That thing would have matched my Av also. Your Av and your VTX look great.
That VTXOA board really moves over there also.

Thanks, I try to keep them both looking nice. How does the old saying go "it ain't cool if the chrome don't shine"

Between this board and the VTXOA board, I'm having a tough time trying to keep up. I'm only at work 7 hours a day >:D

First time I seen the black mud guards in a pic......Cool!

Blue Thunder:

The flaps look good. :)That's a real complement coming from a former Jersey guy (Clark, Exit 135 GS) ;) And I use Maguirs also. I'd like to keep the NJ economy booming, but Zaino just doesn't do it for me. :6:

IronTrain, I forgot to answer this in the earlier post. Yes, the back tires have to come off to install them unless you have a right angle drill chuck and real short screw driver.

Same here, with all of these drought restrictions, every time I wash the AV you'd think I was robbing a bank with some of the looks I get.

can i stop by ur houses to wash my av? lol.. my neighbor is a real.. uhm.. what's the phrase? pregnant dog and loves to call the cops on all the neighbors.. we had to refill our pool at the beginning of the summer and she called about it.. i had to show the cops the nj drought website saying we could do it... soooo annoying.. :8:

I'm practically running a stealth operation myself.
I have to get out there early and get it washed
before 8:00 in hopes that my similar neighbor will
not notice. once I start waxing it's all good.

I don't think that NJ Drought website has changed
all year.
