Intake manifold upgrade

Anyone used a performance intake manifold on the avalanche yet thinking about a1 performance manifold

I added a TBSS intake with 50# injectors and an 87MM TB. Wanted an upgrade but didn’t want to go crazy.

Sooo, what were the results?? Good/bad, loss/gain low end or top end seat of the pants? And most importantly was it worth it??

The TBSS intake with a Camaro SS throttle body (90 or 92mm) would be a good performance mod, HOWEVER, without ECM tuning. I can't remember the specific years, but some Av's came with the TBSS intake, mine for example. Mine came from the factory with the LC9 Flex Fuel AFM 5.3L in 2007.

These manifolds and throttle bodies respond well to porting, as long as that person is competent.
