Sorry if someone posted this previous, I've been looking at this truck parked in the lobby all week and been drooling. I didn't take my camera in the shop but if you click on the link then photo it gives a fair close up

I want it,...    if you'll excuse the pun, MPG would be PUNISHING

(waiting for Dune to show up claiming this will be his next vehicle... Magnum, Charger, H1, Ironhide)  >:D

At 32K for the OPTION package, I think even Dune is actually smart enough to say "No, thanks."

Wow, that big rig is just awesome, maybe I can get one in my next life time!? :B:

I'll ask at work if I can have it for the Eagle's Nest GTG this weekend
Imagine the looks I'd get if I pulled up in that ?

It's probably already gone, displays are usually only one week but we might get to keep Ironhide longer since we built it. We had the #24 Jeff Gordon Chevy a while back.

I saw a truck similar too this about six months ago at  LOW'S shopping mall in Northeast Philly, it was made i think by International Harvester as a large pick up truck it belonged to a landscaper and had a REALLY BIG horse trailer hooked up to it.

Yes, Navistar CXT

One of the local GM dealerships has one of these Topkicks sitting on their lot.  I keep meaning to call them to get a price from them.  Because it's been there since before the movie, I'm thinking they might have done it up themselves, as they often do a lot of custom work themselves, rather than paying ridiculous prices for someone else to do it.  It still costs a lot, usually, but less than the $32K package.  I'll try to give them a call. :)

Ironhide has Road Armor bumpers and I'm unsure what the black wheels are. I don't recall who the upfitter is that puts that package on but I'm sure it's local to the assembly plant here. I've seen the International Harvester and I think they use a Ford box, the Topkick/Kodiak have cleaner lines as they use a GM HD dually box.

I walked up real close to Ironhide for the first time last night, I'm 5'9" and the top of the tailgate is about even with top of my head. It's about level with a semi truck, sitting in the seats you could reach out the window and pat an NBA center on top of the head.  :D

The CXT is a Ford bed, yes.

The company that builds the Topkick Ironhide is Monroe Truck Equipment in Monroe, WI.  They do sell their vehicles through a nationwide assortment of dealers, though.

I thought it was Monroe, pretty sure they were already here but built a larger local facility due to GM medium duty truck production moving from Wisconsin to Flint, MI in 2001.

Yep, thats what it says in the original artical.

Find out more at www.monroetruck.com or by calling (800) 356-8134.

Nothing I've found really details what makes up 32K worth of a "package"

Wheels/tires
Tailgate
Bumper

I don't know what is included either

The local dealership wants $66,000 for the Topkick I saw on the lot.  It is less than one year old and then upgraded, with the box and other accessories.  I am tempted to take photographs, but I know that I cannot afford it so it seems somewhat pointless.  The salesperson seemed somewhat clueless too.  When I asked for the price of the Topkick on their lot, he went silent for a moment and then asked what a Topkick was.  When I told him, he asked, "A 450?"  Isn't Ford the only company using the 150, 250, 350, etc. model scheme?  The Topkick is offered as 4500, 5500, 6500, etc.  Anyway, once he knew what vehicle I was talking about, he seemed a bit more knowledgable.  They also have a white one, apparently.
