Is there anybody out there???

I was just wondering why there isn't any interest in Chapters or GTG's in Maryland? I mean come on, the last post in here was on 3/2 the next lame board is Delaware with 3/1 then in dead last is NH, Vermont and Maine with 2/27/04 for their last posts. Again, another reason to just group areas of little states into there own groups as I had suggested.
Anyway back to why I'm writing,

I really wish that there was a veteran AV enthusiast out there to really organize and rally the troops so to speak and start a MD chapter. I wish that I could do this but I'm a freelancer and work all kinds of weird unexpected hours. And most of all, I'm too new of an AV owner-enthusiast to be the leader of a chapter. I'm just a green rookie still in training camp with double zeros on my jersey. Well I've got my brochures printed out and folded up nicely in my center console to tag the elusive AV owner in the DC area to get the word out on this club and all that it offers. Hopefully with increased knowledge of this club there will be more interest in GTGs, so get out there and tag.
Well thats enough dreaming for now, nothing will probably come from my rants here. But one can always hope.

I'm up for a GTG. I think that we might need more than just 2 people though. Unfortunatly I am not a vetran AV owner, but we should GTG and drink a couple frosty beverages. I live in rockville/aspen hill so we could always meet at Hooters on the pike. I saw a couple of people tried that a couple months ago, not sure how it went. I didnt read out about it until after. Let me know

A Hooters GTG on March 20th sounds great, I'm not sure about the Baltimore Hooters but at the DC Hooters we'll have parking problems. I'm thinking that the Rockville or the Towson Hooters will have parking lots where we'll have no problems parking.
I'm also thinking that the OC Hooters would be a great place to meet this summer for an OC GTG.
Let me know if the 20th is going to happen, right now I'm free for that day.
