Is this OnStar Speaker next to the map light console?

I have a 2002 Chevy Avalanche and have eliminated the antenna on the roof and would like confirmation that this is the OnStar Microphone next to the map light console before removing it.

Sure is. It is worthless now too, so no harm in removing it. I have a 2005 and will eventually use that for my bluetooth microphone once I upgrade my radio soon.
