The dealer just called and, IT'S HERE!!! ? ;D ?

Moddin' this weekend!

MrJim

Everytime I see a post like this I can't help but re-live the excitement I felt when I went to pick my Av up!!

Congrats on your new "Baby", you are gonna love it!

SJP

Mr. Jim...If you feel like I did when I picked mine up your probably happier than a pig in....well....you know...anyway congratulations...and make sure to look her over really well...then bring her home and start to make her feel at home.... :B:

Probably should cLAY her and polish her up with Zaino. No matter how good they look they always could use a massage and a day at the spa. Man that makes me smile, another happy person on the road cuz they are driven an AV ;D We'll be looking for the amber DRL's.

Make sure to get as much sleep as possible. You just may end up trying to do the whole 500 mile engine break in period in one day! Go have fun! :B:

Thanks Y'all! I've got several boxes of goodies stashed in the (1 small car) garage now, but I want to get some "before" pics before I start the "never ending mod process". ;D Then, amber DRL's!

I guess I need to put a web site together to show off my new toy!

MrJim

I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for pics of your mods.

ya I can't wait for pics, so is your first mod going to be Amber DRLS

PS the quote deal I am just testing to see if I know how to work it

I can't wait to see another Av owner indulging with his Av.....and yes a website might just be the way to go...seeing how the picturetrail's are going to start costing anyway... :6: :B:

Congrats Jim and all. I can remember the feeling when I got mine a mere 18 months ago, and the modding began.... Ah memories!!!!!!

Mate don't panic, 12 days will fly by. ?Trust me my 4 months has gone by in a flash. ?
Makes ya wonder Skidd...how on earth you have managed to wait this long.....I'll order an RC Av...to hold ya over... ;D :B:

<This is just a cheap copy of another post I made, but I am happy enough with my decision that I had to post it in a few places soooo.....>>

After careful and financial decisions I decided to go with...

2003, Dk-Grey, Z71, ALL options and I mean ALL except for the plow and roof rack, (No DVD but that didn't come with the "roof-hole"), hell I even got an engine block heater (not by choice.. I wouldn't think they would have even sold that option is So. Cal.).......

Anyway....

- $ 42,490.00 MSRP

- $ 34,890.00 actual purchase price inclusive of rebates.

Saved $ 7,600.00 off of sticker.

I went with my wifes work (U.S.A.A.) and got a high 4% rate after putting over $20K down.

So... I didn't get the GMS but I am happy with the truck and the price..

(NOW it's time to save for that blower >:D >:D ... Now Gandolph.. I know it's NOT a BBC and I am partial to BBC's but don't hate me cause' I went with the mouse. Economics, other venues and future tow rig feasibility dictated. )

Thanks again everyone for all the info over the last couple of month's

"D-man" (listening to the quiet of the night "wishin I was hearing the LOUDness of the track)

Unless you do a lot of driving where you would need the dvd system to distract the kids, I think you'll be much happier with the "roof hole". I love mine! (y)
