ThatsMSAvalanche2U signed up on the web site not too long ago, and when I found out she was in my area, I soon also found out that she lived generally near me.

Now a few months later, I find out that we not only work at the same place, but she works on the floor directly above me, in the area directly above me.

We've been parking on opposite sides of the building so we never saw each other. She parks on the west side, I park on the east side.

After finally figuring out that we work in the same place, she now also parks on the east side.

We get to have an Avalanche meet daily now! >:D

Pictures coming soon...

AND, even though we work in the same place, and our AV's are sitting side by side, we still haven't met each other yet.

Sometimes I think I spend TOO much time on this site. :-[

That's pretty cool!
I am almost in the same situation as a guy I am trying hard to recruit works in a different building than I (we have 6 buildings on our campus). He has visited here and will likely be a member. In a company over nearly 2000 folks in Minneapolis, we are the only two with Avs and they are both black.

NascarFanatic and WVBubba used to live just 3 houses away from each other! We lived there for 18 months and never even knew each other. We met on the site, got to meet each other in person, and are now friends! I only wish we had met 4 years ago when we first moved there!

Earlier this previous fall while still thinking about buying an Avalanche I found this site and got hooked. I started reading some posts from a guy going by BlkFrog and realized I knew who he was, worked for the same company! A few weeks later I bought my Avalanche. Then, about a month after that I noticed another new Avalanche in the parking garage I use. I got in touch with the owner, GMJones, and now there's a threesome of us Av owners at our company. BlkFrog does not park in the same garage as us, however.

Here's a link to a photo of GMJones' and my Av at a lunch GTG:

MAB & GMJones (sounds like a title to an old Billy Paul song....)

Its amazing how small of a world it is sometimes.

Brangus put a bedslide up for sale the other day. It was a great price, but I was going to pass on it due to having to pay shipping. Then I found he lives like 10 miles up the road from me. :)

You guys are lucky i work for a large Mtero Transportation company in Phily Pa. and as far as i can tell i have the only Avy in the Company, i work at the main repair building and there are seven bus depots around the city  ???

Co_bigblock and I go to the same school, our ages are 2 months apart, we take 4 of the same courses and we see each other all the time :).

I'm sure it helps, though, that he has always been a good friend of mine, I tagged him and he showed up at CAFCNA ;D.

It will be an exciting day when I see another avalanche parked in the car park at work. Heck it will be exciting the day I see another avalanche... full stop.

Your right about that!! I've found out that the two previous vehicles that were to be converted by my engineer have been delayed and are only being picked up from the docks this week. This means that mine will now be in a queue behind 2 other vehicles.!! :7:

Anyway I'll not know what the time impact will be until the end of the week.

What exactly do you have to have done with the conversion. Is it personal preference to have the conversion done or required?

It's the law - you have to have it converted. :p

david - I would have thought that your company would have noticed, if it were like NJAV's - two employees, with the same vehcile, both spending LARGE amounts of time on the net on the same site.
