It's Raining Avalanches!

Second day of ownership I drove a few miles back some power line road to another remote cell-site. Pased the d-10 bulldozer- giving tow to the less worthie. What a spring mess. Back and forth I drove giving rides to A.T.T. brass. What a blast.
PS Didn't see any other av's there......... >:D

 Central Oregon is SLOOOOW to catch on!

I've never seen an AV on the road around here or on I-5! I keep thinking, "I'll wave or flash my lights."

 PLUS, Portland is selling 8 Z/71's for $9000 off of the MSRP (not the dealer "sticker."). That means $25K to $28K. I got the ad right here!!! I guess the :B: dealerships there are trying to put a few on the road.

I look forward to seeing another AV on the road someday! :D

how can I get brochures for the ones in my area, there seems to be at least a dozen in town

I just had a red z-71 move in about 8 blocks away. I gotta get a brochure on it.

I was at Lowes loading up 40 cubic feet of bark mulch (under the covers with the midgate up I should add) when a black Cadillac Escalade pulled along side. They were loading up an outdoor "park bench" in the back.

Nice Caddy - driver wasn't so nice - ended up not handing him a brochure...

Hey Chief, which Lowes store do you frequent? Home Despot, Costco?

Black ScrpioN,
You can print the brochures yourself from this website. There is one for handing to fellow owners as well as one for dealers to use.

Here is the link but they are under the "Resources" tab on this site. Dealers and Owners

All you need is a printer and make sure you have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed. Adobe Acrobat is a free download from here.

I went to a friends house for a bite to eat. I ended up parked my Pewter Av behind a Victory Red Av, and 2 houses down was a Black Cadalliac EXT.

When I bought my Z66 back in Jan. there were 4 other AV's in town ( college town w/pop. of about 25,000 not including students). As I post there are about 15 others, never have a chance to give a flyer though.

It was nice to be one of the few while it lasted, but with such an awsome truck you can't expect to be alone for long.

ah man you guys think you got it close? try this, my next door neighbor just bought a blue one... :cautious: the guy across the street bought a white one... :( i got a red one... and the lady 5 houses down the strett has a big lifted black one. plus i live not even 1/2 mile from a large chevy truck dealer that has, as counted yesturday, 8 avs... :mad:and i have seen over 20 avs in just the past 2 weeks.  btw... av drivers are pretty friendly. :D i know i saw flyinhigh's av.. not too long ago before i knew who it was. anybody else near cupertino, santa clara, san jose area seen a red av with amber drl's?

This one time, at Weber Chevrolet here in town, they had 41 Avs on the lot!

I think they are down to 11 now.

I do see quite a few on the road in St. Louis, I'll have to try the brochure thing.
