Well,I've finally got my glow handle led kit on the truck now.i would say i am very impressed in the kit. Here is a partial write up on the main points in wiring the system up.

After removing the driver/passenger side door panels(you can look up on how to remove the door panels in the tech archive)you have a couple of options on the front doors.2 in case you don't want to run a wire to the interior,3 if you do.

1st option: tap the puddle light wires as shown in the pic below.they are both the same color.just one is power, the other is the ground.
the effect: is they only light up when the puddle light are on

2nd option: tap the white wire in the right/left angled flip-n-lock connector.this wire is to the interior door panel light.when you use the keyless remote, the interior lights will light the exterior handles.plus as a side effect, they will gently dim with the interior light start to fade

Now the 3rd option is tied in with the rear doors.First pop the driver side A piller off and uncover the harness. There is a gray wire with a black stripe on it.this wire controls the dome light.Get a probe and check it to see if it is the right one(i think there was 2 or 3 of them in that harness.)

when you found the right one,tap that wire and run the tap wire to the B piller, between the front and rear doors.run the led harness from the handle, through the door harness plug,to the interior support.then run another wire to the passenger side.that wire will connect to the passenger side rear door led grab handle kit.

if you want to control the front door led kit, just run a 22awg wire from the front doors, through the kick panel, under the sill plate, then tap into the wire on both side from the tap wire you ran from the dome light harness tap in the driver side A piller. This way all the grab handle led will fade at the same rate.

the interior door panel light have a slightly different rate of fade than the dome light.the front door handle leds will not fade as good as the rear door handles.Below is the pic showing where the harness is,and the tap i put in.

now i wonder if i can wire them all to the turn signals in the front door rear view mirrors >:D later all

Very bright and Very NICE install..  Great pics and docs..!!!!

CONGRATZ to you

Thanks. The only real problem i had was that 3rd bolt for the grab handles.GM put that :7: bolt in a real convenient place! The far left bolt (in this pic) is the hard one to get to (on the driver side)

When i get home next month,or when i go through Columbia,S.C. i'll get some picks on the rear door plug and how i ran the wires through that haness plug.the wire the leds attached to are the perfect size to run through the plugs.Either the front door plugs or the rear plugs, without getting a pin for that connector.the camera when dead halfway through the installation.

they are, i think, the white plasmaglow led kit.i got them at STI-IV last year.i think you can get them new for around $40 for the 4 door kit.they look brighter in the camera pic.took me a while to get them installed.better late than never.

I see a new mod for my AV >:D  Nice work

Newbie question:  What was/is/will be STI?  Where is it held?  When?
