July Cruise / GTG Idea. Street of Dreams 9-24 July

Hi All.

What does everyone think of GTG this July that involves a meal and a cruise out to the Street of Dreams? The houses will be on display 9-24 July. I can support either weekend, but wanted to gauge interest before sticking a date.

Street of dreams is a number of houses (11 this year) put on display that are essentially dream homes (especially if you live on my budget  ;D ). They are decked out with every ammenity known to man and some that aren't. Each year a very nice subdivision is selected for the display. This year it is Deer Creek which is located at 120th and Military.

I am already working out at this site doing private security and all I can say is these are some AWESOME houses, and most of them aren't even finished yet. The architecture is  (y) (y) (y).

If interested - Please post here and if we get a decent number I will create a GTG thread for specific details. If you have any other ideas, just let me know.

That works for me, I have tickets from my realtor for me already, so any of the days will be fine.  P.S. anyone who knows a realtor should call on them to get tickets, virtually anyone who is a member of MOBA will have tickets to give a way.

Weekends, work better for me, I was planning on going opening Saturday, but that is going to be a VERY busy day, especially for parking!!  So if we have a lot of AV's roll up, it may be hard to all park together, just an FYI.

As soon as the rest of the gang checks in, we'll start nailing down dates. I may be working the night prior so I may be able to set up a parking area.

I have my high school reunion this weekend, so I am out for the Street of Dreams.  I am planning on attending the Street of Dreams the weekend of the 23rd.  That will be the last day, I hope that I see many of you there, if not take care and maybe next time.

Based on the overwhelming response to this idea...  :rolleyes: :7:. I don't think it will happen. I am probably going to go tomorrow.
Thanks for dropping in Insurance man, and keeping me posted.

Maybe we can try something when it cools off.

Oh By the way.....

I have orders to San Diego  ;D ;D ;D. I will be leaving in November and arriving in SOCAL around New Years!!!!!
 
Good luck with everything, and you watch out for yourself out there!  Thanks for filling me in, with the heat, I ended up giving my tickets to some other friends of mine that wanted to go, I have been to them before, and I just didn't care much to walk in the heat.
