Does this mean you will be 2 avy family or trading in the original....and welcome back to the continetal states.....how was Hawaii?

YGMN,

We are a two AV family. I traded in the Pacifica for the 03 AV. The Pacifica was OK, but lacked power and sat too low.

Thank you for the welcome. It is good to be back in CONUS. I will be here until JAN04 then back to Hawaii >:D for three months.

I finish up my time on USS CHAFEE in MAR04 then transfer to Millington, TN for a couple of years.

I did my first mod on Jr. today, amber DRLs.

Hooya,
Murman

Glad you back and a 2 avy family.....I wonder how many 2 avy families we have?

MLC,

The Pacifica was purchased in May. Attached is a photo of the Pacifica after a cleaning. It was almost LPM in color.

Yall might need your own forum section to discuss the nuances of owing more then 1......hehehehe

You might be interested in knowing that Chrysler is going to be addressing one of your concerns when a Dodge-branded version of the Pacifica is introduced, according to what my Chrysler Dealership General Manager brother-in-law told me at Thanksgiving. They will be putting their Hemi in the Pacifica frame. That would be interesting. I forget what he told me about when that would hit the market, but I think it was possibly 2005.

Whatever the Dodge boys do to their version of the Pacifica better include a a healthy dose of TORQUE. The Pacifica motor was rated at 250 horsepower. The AWD added weight and may have scrubbed some ponies, but I do not think it was enough to make the acceleration suffer.

Morpar free in KY,

I want so much to become a 2 Av family. But they are likely to up the tax on gas here in NJ come January by as much as 15 cents a gallon. So much for cheap gas.

Since my Grand Prix gets 26-27 MPG average, it would be tough to justify another 13 MPG Av. Although I have been known to disregard these types of issues when selecting the right vehicle.... ;)

I do not want to have to fill both AVs at the same time...

just fill the top half... it's cheaper ;)

People ask me what kinda mileage I get... I tell them. "Just like your car, it drinks everything I put in it." and I tell them... " I can go 400 miles on 1 tank of gas" that one gets them. ;D

I goofed and drove past a 121.9/gal station yesterday in search for <120.0/gal. Never found it. :E:

WOW! That's cheaper than around here. We're around $1.29 at the cheapest. Although in NY they are paying $1.65 a gallon.

I picked up a case of oil and two filters along with grease. LO and F plus a wash for both should take up most of my Sunday afternoon. :6: I gotta train my wife to do some of the maintenance. :D

Good luck! I've been trying that for over 16 years without any luck. Then again, I don't have to go food shopping or do the laundry..... ;D
