Just Rescued A Vehicle!

We have someone working with us from Japan who owns a 1999 Cavalier Z24. Well, the parking lot where he parks has become a quicksand sinkhole during our annual freeze/thaw process during spring. He couldn't get his car out even with me pushing! So I break out the tow hook and use the front tow hook on the Avalanche (I know I know you're not supposed to use it for that, but I don't have the trailer hitch tow hook yet). Put the truck in 4WD lo (I had to climb a bit of a snow bank to pull him out straight) and gently pull him out. Kinda funny to watch the kids from the school next door point and smile

Ah, it's at this moment where I feel justified in spending $50,000 on my Avy. Well, that and taking home the 8 foot drywall edging

True story.
I pulled 4 fords out last weekend. They were having fun in the mud and I got called by a friend that was with them. I went to the mud hole and they had there heads down. as the AV hooked up to each one of them ONE AT A TIME. and pulled them out. I am happy to say 1 of the ford owners in now a EX ford owner and by the way he is drivig a red AV. Z71............
