Hello,

I'm new to this forum but not to the sport. I have a few toys at home but my recent one is my 2003 Avalanche Z71. I bought this a year ago, Ive done some mods since I bought it and plan on doing some more.
I came across this site by the one place I buy my parts from, the manager thier said it would be a good source of information and the poeple there are friendly and can help with any questions or problem's that I may have with my Avalanche.

I'm sure WhiteThunder will have another Timmie's GTG on a Friday night... Hopefully he has it closer to me than the last one!!

Welcome to the Club!

That is a good parts place from the sounds of it...

Seems like there is a topic somewhere in these forums that will cover just about every mod/question/option/etc.. that anyone could have about the AV.

One of my favorite parts (one that you found right away) is the meets and cruises. Getting together with others who love their AVs is a lot of fun and good way to get away from the daily grind.

Again, welcome to the club!

It's great you have found the club. I'm curious, which truck shop referred you to the club? I've left materials at Riva (Burlington), and know they have shared that info to their Avalanche customers.

Hi Mike! Welcome aboard..
Most of our plans revolve around the greater Toronto area, so when you see something pop up on here it should never be too far from where you are..
The near future holds some plans that you may want to consider, if you watch the boards here you will see them turning up very soon, as Dichris has mentioned there is a lunch coming up, not too far from where you are, after that a day event where the trucks themselves become the big attraction..
Who was it that referred you to us Mike? Always nice to thank them in person!

The shop that refered me to this club is Race-Tech Automotive, the manager there "Joe" also a Avalanche owner said he's a member too. Joe's a very nice guy to talk to, he's given me some good deals and I trust him with my truck's.

I ran into joe a few years ago at a car show out in Brampton, Ont. He and a few people were putting on a car show for the members of the GTA Fiero club. Joe is well know for his 3800 S/C swaps in the Fiero and as well the J-body's. Race-Tech does alot of performance up grades to GM car's and truck's.

Joe said there's a show coming in Niagara Falls this summer.

we have some GTG's coming out you should come out if you can we have one in Kitchener this Saturday and another in Dover on May 1st. :B:

I'm relatively new here too...(but you wouldn't know it by my exponentially growing number of posts)..lol

In a matter of weeks.. these guys have managed to convince me to go to the Niagara GTG... I'm from Ottawa and I'm making the trip !

This place is full of great advice and has a friendly atmosphere. Hope to see you at the BIG meet.

Mike this family knows no borders!!!! The members are always here too help and you will meet some great people..The LOve of the AV is why we all come here and we all stay because of the people .. and if yu try to leave .. Yak WILL find yu .. >:D
