Howard Johnson at 950 North Street has offered us as many washes as it takes to keep our Avalanches clean and shiny all week long! They will provide the space, water, hose and all the towels we need. All we need to provide is our own soap and elbow grease.

THANKS HOWARD JOHNSON!!

What is the climate like in South Dakota this time of the year Todd?  Is it going to be hard to keep our AV's clean during our stay?  I will definately need to be cleaning up the Bermuda Blue after the long trek from Nashville no doubt.

Weather averages for Rapid City, South Dakota in July.. Source of information
Temp: 73
High: 86
Low: 58
Precipitation: 2"
Number of Rainy Days: 9

THATS WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT!! Good job, it looks like we will all have clean Avalanches!

The coolest part is you can wash your Av as many times as you want!

Todd

I heard that all the attending CC's have to spend a day in the Wash Pit!
I LOVE that idea!!

Sure glad I'm an RC now!

I might not even wash my own truck let alone someone else's truck

Why not hire a few bikini clad ladies to wash our Avalanches?

Now I don't have to worry about bugs, all the way from Canada.

Maybe even a roadkill......

THANKS A LOT HOWARD JOHNSON

Looking forward to adding you to the list and meeting you at the Nationals!

Todd

I hope the passport thing works out for you..

I can't wait to check out your Av in person.. Nice pics in your album!

Thanks, I did have my hotel reservation for 2 mounts now but still gotta find someone to go with me who has a passport, it's a long trip tho.

Passport Canada

Link above shows requirements, no passport needed until 2008 if you are driving. We are working on that too, border states/provinces hope to implement a magnetic strip into driver's licenses.

don't see it listed, will there be buckets available?

I would have to say yes... but I will check to make sure.

Good work, now if we can get people to talk their kids into washing AV's for 5 bucks each they can make some spending money and I can relax on vacation.

I am sure we can come up with a bucket or two if needed.  Bet the local store would have some cheap enough.

I can bring  my Mr Clean car wash, Chemicals and yes even a couple buckets. I will also bring wax and applicators. I do not however have a buffer. I would like to request that someboby or a lot of somebodies bring the filters for the mister clean machine. And maybe some extra containers of soap also for it.

Thanks

Shane
