(y) i saw an article on a truck magazine and they had an article on air baggin the caddie with the 23in rims ! the car was litterally touching the ground when the air was out with giant 23in rim neatly tucked in to the fender. i call the company who did the work and they estimated $5500 to air bag the Avalanche...parts AND labor included...it takes about 2 weeks...it's not a walk in the park job but it has been done ! and gurantees their work...anyone up for a group work??!! ;D

$5500 and two weeks!?

Are they talking about doing front and rear?? They have to be...

The rear would be a piece of cake to do... the front's, a nightmare.

The first thing that came to mind when you mentioned air bag suspension was that of the big rigs (18 wheelers). I think that some Range Rovers used to go that route, too.

For others, like me, who need more info about air bag suspensions check out the FAQs. The more I read the more it reminds me of the lowriders bouncing down in the Valley, back in Albuquerque.

yes both front and back..front requires removing the factory shockmounts and refabricating the new mount for the bags fron scratch..its not actually a kit...more of a custom work....i guess if they are confident enough to do it on the caddie then it should be good...the shop is well known for their custom air ride works on low riders...very reliable according to the magazine...i even spoke directly to the owner/person who did the install.
but only problem is that im in WA state and they are in CA....
