Well, it looks like I will finally get what I wanted; the :eek: FIRST LABRADOR AVALANCHE GTG :eek: will be tomorrow night!!!

ATTENDING:: Yakmar (Labrador City)
LabradorAvy (Churchill Falls/Lab. CIty)

LOCATION:: Tim Hortons, 500 Vanier Drive.

TIME:: Approx. 10:00pm

*** I KNOW there are some other members out there from LAB. CITY, so why not drop by and share a coffee and talk about ANYTHING and EVERTHING!! ***

FSUGuy, there are only 3 registered members from here that I know off, but there are a few lurkers!! I am hoping that more will come out!!!

I like in a town with only a population of 10,000 ppl or less, mining town. There are approx. 8-12 Avs on the go here. :)


I FIGURE SOMEONE has to take then iniative and try something here...... :6:

I know you all :p from the U.S. and stuff can't make it, but I was hoping that some of the lurkers from Labrador City here would be interested. :rolleyes:

I have two other Avalanche owners phone numbers locally, so I am going to give them a dingle and mention it anyhow.........

Good luck Yak! We'll send down some full size poster cut outs of the boys down here and you can set them up all around you.. Conference call!
How about those guys in the red AV from last week? tag them?
IMO, gtg's work very well in licenced places... The boys down south have it right, Hooters every time.

Ok, ok !!! The MINI-GTG did happen, and I am pleased for a FIRST ATTEMPT!!
INcluded were: YAKMAR (Sunset Orange Metallic Av)
LabradorAvy (Dark Green Metallic, WBH )
Jennings (SUmmit White, no pics of this one sorry!)

It was at the local TIm Hortons (we do not have HOOTERS, FSUguy, sorry!) ;)

There is some interest in trying to form a local Avalanche CHapter... (y)

...hopefully, I will try to get one of these on the go again before I head out in June to Niagara......

..... the unseen attendee, Jennings, did mention interest in Niagara... have to see what happens!! (y)

Looks like you had some fun and a good first GTG! Looking forward to photos of a summmer GTG when the sun gets higher in the sky. I heard it was darker during the days up north but man... that was darker than I thought it would be this time of year.

Would like to see some more detailed shots of the ss wheel well guards.
