I have a 2007 Avalanche Z71 and have been using Car Worx refinisher on my black bed cladding for years, but am wondering if any new products are better now. Looking for a coating that lasts longer than a month and can stand up to the Florida sun and rain storms.

I am a long time user of Refinish Restorer, but I have moved to CERAKOTE Ceramic Trim Coat.

My 2003 Avalanche Z-66 plastic cladding was in really bad shape when I bought the truck used.

I found the CERAKOTE product and gave it a try.

I am very pleased with the results, so far.

Make sure you follow the directions TO THE LETTER for best results.

All that being said, I am thinking the best possible solution for the bed panels is still going to be paint.

Those things take a real beating from the sun and weather.

Thanks for the suggestion. Your Avy is looking great. I will look into CERAKOTE. The bed panels do take a beating, but the sail panels seem to be holding up better.

I used the CERAKOTE and very happy. Hell, my buddy did his Harley dash that was faded bad and it looks great now.
