Leather/cloth seats interior

I’m a new member and I’ve never posted anything on this site or anywhere else for that matter so please forgive me if this is not in the right place I tried! My question is that I’m looking for the leather seats that have the cloth insert and I can’t find them anywhere but I have seen them before. I currently have the cloth seats with the graphite insert I believe that is what it’s called it looks really good but I would rather have the leather ones with the graphite cloth insert! I currently have the 2004 Chevy avalanche base model 2wd without the cladding!

I have always purchased my leather replacement seat covers from The Seat Shop.

When I bought my 2003 Z-66 used, the seat bottoms on both front seats could use some attention.

However, The Seat Shop had leather or vinyl seat covers, but neither had the cloth inserts.

I opted to go ahead and replace the seat bottom leather with the solid leather covers and I also replaced the driver's seat bottom foam.

I left all of the other seat covers installed as they came from the factory and I think the end result came out nice.



Otherwise, if I wanted to go with the cloth inserts, I would probably have had to have the seat bottoms hand built by an upholstery shop.

I am very happy with the way they have turned out and I feel like unless someone knew what they were looking for, they would never notice that those two seat covers were missing the cloth insert.

I can also tell you that the original seat foam under the two original seat covers with the cloth inserts was in really bad shape due to years of stuff leaking down into the foam from above.

The seat foam from my leather seated EXT was no where near as nasty.

Thank you so much you told me exactly what I needed to know and so quick too! That does look really good! I’m going to go search junk yards for 03 z66 leather seats now!

I just recently spray painted the trim with rust oleum trim and bumper paint,which turned out wonderfully. The interior is in great shape I just want leather seats!

Thank you again so much I looked for days online but I couldn’t find the answer I was looking for!

I found a picture of what my seat bottoms looked like before the new leather was installed.



They were in worse shape than what this picture shows.

The front mounting clip along the lower front edge of the seat covers on both sides were messed up pretty bad.

Instead of getting the worn out seat covers fixed, I opted for new seat covers, entirely.

And the driver's side seat bottom foam was totally crushed and useless.

Which is often the case with older seats.
