Great! Congrats! Now, the fun (mods) begin!!
Can anyone tell me what is a good price for a "regular" customer (not GM employee) to pay on a new AV Z-71 loaded?
I know this is a tough one to answer but perhaps you might be able to share how much over/under invoice currently with the 2500 cash back?
The reason I am asking is cuz I thought I had a good deal on one (have not signed the papers yet) until my dealership advertised a 1200 lower price for same optioned vehicle today. I complained to them and their answer was that the vehicle was prevoiusly sold...I was there at 0800 today, the 1st day of the "sale." (sounds like the old bait tactic)
Then they told me that was a demo even though the ad did not say that.
My feeling is that this is screwy but, the ad price was CONSIDERABLY lower than "invoice" from my net sources.
My deal is still good and they even came down a bit more due to the "embarrassment" of this.
Does 100 over invoice (2400 under with rebate) sound like a good deal for a regular customer?
Sorry for the rant but I was hoping to pick up my AV today when this happened and I told them I would call Monday if I was still interested.

Check ebay, there are dealers regularly selling fully loaded Avs real cheap. There was a 2500 4x4 for 31,900 the other day. I bought mine (1500 fully loaded Z71 4x4, leather heated seats, sunroof) for 31,700 before tax.

For what its worth I Payed 43800 + Tax (7%) Canadian Dollars with 0% 36 months. It looks like the 2000 rebate is in addition to the 0% financing, this also included 1000 for n/c transmission and I think there was another rebate

All dollars I am talking bout are in Canuck Bucks. I dont remember all the credits but I think there was a total of 3. One of the credits was $2002 (I think) I thought it was take the 2002 cash back or 0% financing but they gave me both, they called it a STACKABLE CREDIT! then there was a $1115 credit for a N/C automatic transmission (they dont come standard but still give me a credit because it is a automatic, special ends next week I think) then I think I got a $500 credit for something else, I just liked the total price and bought my Dream AVLazKat said:

I think I can get $1000 under invoice plus the $2500 rebate. I might even consider working them for $1500 under. The local dealer in Rosevile, CA is sitting on 16 2500's.
