Hey all, I added led bulbs to the lower bulb breaks & blinkers. Having the fast blinking and purchased the resistors to try fixing speed.
Have four black wires & two yellow to the led bulbs.
Anyone know what two wires I should splice the resistors across to get correct blinking speed?
It works ok as is but looks odd from outside truck & faster clicks sometimes annoying.
My best guess is the yellow & black I put gator clips on but don't want to cut or mess with it till more sure.

You will need four for the back & two for the front.

I mounted the rear in metal project boxes secured underneath, the front I secured to the metalwork behind the headlights, by drilling & securing with metal self tappers one cable end was terminated to the body of the resistor & the vehicles ground with one of the screws, the other end was wired into the main body of the wiring harness (Not the headlight assembly wiring) & taped up.

Appreciate the help, I had thought needed more resistors after seeing how the rear lights were wired. The only led was x2 stage had all four yellow wires & two black.
Hoped could figure out how add resistance for just that 1 bulb.
I might try changing bulb back till buy led bulbs for all.

I did the rear ones first around April (Easy access), I did the front ones in September when I was still deliberating to fit new headlight assemblies or try a headlight restoration kit & fit the front with LED's throughout at the same time. So one resistor per LED bulb at the time of fitting (You can mix & match front & rear).

Over time I am slowly changing out several bulbs on the "Green Booger" to LED's. To make it "simple" I replaced the blinker module with one of these:
I learned about it on this forum (somewhere), In practice what you lose is the feature that: when a "bulb" burns out the flasher slows down..
with this unit it is the same flash rate no matter the load.
