LED light bar

After reading a lot of information on the Line of Fire and Pacer LED light bars for the running, brake & turn signals I ordered one. Unfortunately I ordered the Pacer in error.

I would like to see some updated comments on each before I install mine or return it and order the one from Altec.

Never seen "Pacer"

I have the Altec Line of Fire  as do a majority here and  it!!

Buy Altec.  If you are not electrically inclined like me, and want an easy way to hook up the light bar without using the external towing plug, go to a local trailer store and buy or order a "T" adapter.  It goes behind the bumper and plugs into the wiring harness to the trailer plug.  I do not have the part number anymore sorry.

I've not heard of the Pacer either.  I have a Recon unit purchased off ebay and no problems for the last 6 or 8 months.

I've only heard a couple of problems, if they are not sealed at the ends you are going to have a problems, but sealed them and you will be OK. Also don't think they are brake lights they are not bright, but they do look good

I wanted the Altec, I am going to send the Pacer back and order the Line of Fire.
I have a "T" adapter on order. I could splice into the wiring harness but do not wish to take the chance of causing problems in the future.

I too have the Recon from Ebay.  Its going on 2 years and no problems.
