Hi I am new to this forum, and I am looking for some help matching up the factory radio harness with the lighting schematic I have drawn for the OEM changer faceplate. I have already swapped out the dash LEDs and Climate Control lighting with great results, but the radio faceplate itself consisted of 6 series/parellel combinations. I have traced these out, and my diagram may be of use here, but I need to know which pin is positive and which is negative. Attached is a hand drawing of the lighting circuit inside the 6 CD changer faceplate as viewed from the front of the unit (connector is reversed from this view)

I can use 5v LEDs head to tail in sets of 3 to complete the series parellel combinations, but they must have the correct polarity. Has anyone else attempted this mod?

Problem solved! I attached all the radio guts without the faceplate and powered it up. Here is the polarity for the 5v LED mod for the 17 LED locations. Youre welcome :) Feel free to tag someone who can use this information or redraw it. I just dont have the time to fire up CAD and blueprint it.

My XM is intermittent. Sometimes it works fine, sometimes not at all. I am in clear ski, no obstructions. Antenna is good. It sometimes works better when it is warmer outside. XM will play for a while, them cut out. Not sure what the problem is.
