Has anyone installed LEDs yet for tail, brakes, or DRLs? Have any pics of those?

Zane over at GM-Trucks put them in his camaro and did a little write up on it. They look cool, only thing holding me back is the price tag on the, I'd rather put that money into other mods for more power.

I have direct experience with this one! First off, be very wary of the bulbs you are purchasing. The ones that I installed were very high quality APC LED bulbs, specifically manufactured for Chevrolets (they were around $20.00 for two bulbs and were the correct part number, I believe 3157A?). Suffice to say, they did work, but then blew all of my rear light fuses, as well as my turn signals. I actually didn't care for the way they looked, due to the lack of relection inside the light housing. LED'S *DO NOT* refract/reflect light to the sides, therefore, you have only a straight-forward concentration of light. It looked okay, but nothing special, and without a doubt, not nearly as bright as the stock bulbs (which reflect on all sides), which are reflected by way of the reflective chrome panels inside the light housing. I suppose this mod is one that it personal preference, as long as you find the correct bulbs.

Looks like these reflect out the sides as well. ?I've been eyeing them for a while, but the cost is prohibitive. ?I wish I knew if it was $50 each or for a pair.

I think that is EACH - the ambers would be great for the DRL's - run cooler and last longer.

Yes, it is 48.50 per LED. Mine should be here this week and I will post results after installed

Yes I also tried out those APC LEDS, and yes all fuses blew, couldnt figure it out. I think its because out tails have 2 stages, and the LEDS just have one, yeah i didnt reall like the way it looked either. But all the other products I have form APC work great.
