Thanks for that detailed response, I appreciate it.  Again, I'm only looking for a little extra ground clearance and preservation of the autoride. Not too particular on tire size. I spoke to Dave at Summit this morning and he was extremely helpful and answered my many questions. 

What is your tire size now? 33", but are they 275/60/R20?

Dr. Hip.  I installed the same kit from precision as NO TYME with no problems.  FYI.  Before kit my fenders were 36 inches off ground(front) 38 inches(rear). After kit installation both front and rear fenders now stand 39 inches off ground and now truck is level. Hope this helps. Trying to upload photo but having difficulty.

Yes, tire size is 275 60 R20's. I have even given thought to 275 65 R20's but not sure if I can find a good summer tire in that size. My tire calculator puts the 275 60's at 33" tall. 275 65's just might bump me into 34, but not sure I want to go that far from stock.

SO...I was out in another town for work and saw a guy with a rancho 4" lift on 33" tires and decided I wanted more lift than the spacers could provide.  Did more research and ended up nervously ordering a Skyjacker C7361ARK for my autoride avalanche to have a 3.5" growth spurt. 

Ride is absolutely the same as factory and it looks awesome!  Haven't yet stuck a heavy load on the back to ensure the autoride still functions properly, but I'm sure it will.  Only idiosyncrasy is that the front tires now sit at 78" wide vs 76" in the back, unless you're really looking for it you can't tell. Both skyjacker and the pro-shop that installed it said that happens sometimes from replacing the factory knucks. 

Before the lift I was sitting 35" front 36" rear and now 40" all around perfectly level. 

Next step as soon as the current tires wear is bigger tires.  ...Even the factory setup doesn't look bad though...Was able to keep factory wheels this kit despite the factory/OEM  backspacing being 5.25" and skyjacker saying no more than 5"

Thoughts on 33 vs 34" tires?

I run 33"tires but did give a thought of trying to get closer to 34". I am happy with the 33's and at 55 my speedo is only off a mile of so.

But yes, you need taller tires.

Dr. Hip,  I just installed the c7361ark from skyjacker on my 09 LTZ.  My alignment guy said he can't get it aligned due to the tie rods now being too long... Did you have any problems with this after you installed your lift?

The alignment was done by a local tire-o-rama. I had the lift kit installed by a local off road shop and they had alignment afterwards by the above. I thought it looked like it had the smallest of positive camber in the front, so I went to the shop and spoke to the mechanic. He said that he remembered the tie rods looking funny before he aligned it and that he struggled to get it into spec, running out of room to adjust further. On the alignment sheet, it's barely within the spec tolerance, but it's to factory spec all the same. I called skyjacker and they said that they have had no problems with alignment returning to spec afterwards.  They said that so long as it's within factory spec, even working the tolerances,  it's to factory spec.

Are you aligning yourself?  If it would help, i could try to upload the alignment sheet.

Resurrecting an old thread I now have 2.5" lift on both front and rear of my 13 LTZ with auto leveling. I need to reduce shock length and picked up a pair of shock spacers but the way they are mad with change the orientation of the shock mount by 90 degrees.
Has anyone tried this on the auto leveling air shock?

Sorry I have not tried anything other than my skyjacker kit. Have you had experience with the auto level shocks going bad? I hear my compressor going off more than usual with an empty or very light load.

I think mine are still original, not sure. Picked it up in Jan 2018 and have a bumper to bumper on it for another year and some...
As for the compressor running it does run every time I start the truck, and with my RV on the truck it runs for 30 to 40 seconds. So far all is good.
The auto level shocks can't be rotated like a conventional shock so most all of the shock extensions I see won't work and I fear if I have a shock go bad the fact that it is on a 2.5" lift may void the bumper to bumper coverage.
