Licence Plate Lights

My licence plate lights went out and I was wondering if anyone else has had any trouble with them. I haven't had a chance to really get under the truck to look for broken wires, but I did check my fuses.

I know I might be a little pre-mature by asking such a minor qustion before I really investigated. I just noticed this problem yesterday and I just hoped it wasn't a trend. Besides, that's why we have this site right?

I haven't had any problem with mine. I put blue bulbs in though. Did you do any wireing or mods prior to the problem?

I had the same problem with my license plate lights. The left side bulb was burnt out. I replaced the bulb and all is fine now.

Replacing one bulb is not so bad, I had to replace both bulbs after a Texas State Trooper gave me a warning a couple nights ago for not having any license plate lamps.

I have had to replace both of mine Not sure what really happened but it was at the same time and both were literally broken Replaced about a month ago and no prob since. No water inside, I dont go off road, hell I hate dirt roads, maybe a heat problem but that is just a guess.

It depends on the local laws. In many places, any kind of blue light is forbidden, as are red lights up front. These are often reserved for police and emergency vehicles.

Our left light burnt out about 2 months ago. Replaced it shortly after and I didn't feel it was much of a big deal to post it.

Now that it's here, I felt I might as well share my story .
