GUYS GETTING MY AV LIFTED TOMMORW.. I READ ALOT OF YOUR STATEMENTS AND DID SOME RESEARCH ON MY OWN.. OK I WAS CONFUSED REGARDING THE LIFT, MOST GUYS HAVE THE RCDS, BUT IN CALIFORNIA MOST OF THE SHOPS LIKE THE FABTECH. I LOVED THE WAY THE RCD LIFT LOOKS. SHOPS AROUND TOWN SAY THAT THE RCD HAS HAS PROBLEMS AND THAT SOMETHING ON THE FRONT END SEEMS TO BREAK ALOT. SO IM GOING WITH THE FABTECH BUT GETTING THE BILSTEIN SHOCKS PUT ON WITH IT.. I JUST GOT SOME CENTERLINE RIMS AND PLACED 305/70/16 GOODYEAR WRANGLER AT/S ON. THE TIRES LOOK COOL THEY HAVE A BIGGER CUT IN THE CENTER OF THE THREAD. BEFORE I GO THROUGH WITH IT,, GIVE ME SOME INPUT,, I CAN ALWAYS TAKE THE TIRES BACK .....

I have had the RCD for over a year with no problems. I don't think anyone on the site has had problems with an RCD. I do know of people who have had Fabtech problems. CAHIKR, a local, had problem when we were offroading at a meet. Not sure the shops are being honest with you.

I have had wrangler At's and i think the other model was RT. I will bet anything you will n\be unhappy with the wear of the tire. Wranglers do not last. If you live in snow country and do not want to buy snow tires for your truck... good choice, as the tread is made of a soft compound, hence why they don't last long. As we all know a true snow tire will only last 2 seasons, or 12 months, because the tread compound is very soft. I will bet you will get 2 years (normal driving miles) on these.

Personally I would, (and will when I buy new tires) to go with BFG TA ko's. Good off road tread and very quiet highway ride. (plus they last longer for the same price as wranglers).

I looked at Pirelli Scorpions, however I have heard alot of problems with them. Dunlop makes good tires (although they own Pirelli, but Dunlops I would trust )

Again, this is just my opinion.

Just my .02 - I had the Dunlop Radial Rovers on my truck - had it in the shop twice becasue the truck wouldn't drive right the 1st week - they found that ALL 4 tires were out of round - I could accept 1 maybe 2 - but 4 - I didn't risk replacing them with Rovers so I got BFG's put on.

The shop did some research because they were surprised and learned another company makes the Radial Rovers under the Dunlop name.

I have the Nitto Terra Grapplers. Only had them a week and seem pretty quiet on the road. Look preety cool too.
