Light Assembly Breaks Easily!

I did the Silverstar upgrade and in the process broke the clip that holds the blinker assembly in place.

Guys, be sure to pull out toward the front of the vehicle and not to the side. (im an idiot) The manual is not to clear on this.

It cost $75 for a new blinker assembly. My cost was $49. I didn't buy it though. I just did what we use to do on the farm. JB WELD ($3.69). It fixed it no problem.

Heads up....plastic breaks easily! ;D :8: ;D
 
Sorry to hear about this. I am working on a story for CAFCNA Magazine and in part outline how to take off the corner lamps. Ugh - so much information so little time. It is definitely a pull toward you and out from the corner at the same time.
 
I think I was to break it....I tried gluing the tab back on....did not last long....duct tape worked until replacement came in....
