Ok...here is the best pic that I could take....the picture does not do it justice...you really have to see it in person for the full effect. Cant wait to see everyone elses.

Just bought one from autotrimdesign.com that says AVALANCHE. They also have "LIKE A ROCK" and "CHEVROLET" for about 20$. I'll let you know how it looks at night when it comes in.

here is a picture of the third light decal from autotrim. Fast delivery, but costly. Must remember to put it down low on the light so it can be read from behind. Also comes in a silver finish.

Hello. We have been offering the Third Brake Light Decals for quite some time now. We offer them in Black or Simulated Carbon Fiber. You do not need to trim them. One thing to note is on the edges of the brake light there are raised lettering and numbering. These can not be covered with the vinyl, so the decal is a little shorter. We have them in three word choices, "Avalanche", "Like a Rock", and "Chevrolet". Hopefully the CAFCNA will have our link up soon that will apply your 35% CAFCNA Member Discount. To view this particular Avalanche product click here: http://www.autotrimdesign.net/detail.jsp?itemId=9024&category=7324. Thank you.
-Brad

p.s. I attached a picture for you:)

WHOOPSIE! I was so excited when my stuff came in that I ran right out and installed the sticker to the brake light! Only if you want to see it you will have to do a low fly-by in a plane. I thought I was placing it low enough... but it is very tough to judge yourself! I would reccomend you having someone standing behind the truck telling you if it is right because once its on... its on. I tried to remove mine to re-seat it, but it tore. Oh well, I guess I'll try again when the next one comes in! Wish me luck!

I have been "dry" practicing with mine and LOW really does mean LOW mounting. I taped it up there about 7 times before I got it in the right place.

yep, these look good if you can get them at the right angle.

when I made mine out of a piece of cladding i realized, that semi truck drivers get the best view.

it still lets people know, avalanche is the way to go!!!

hey, just thought I'd tell you about my av logo on the brake light. I've seen the decal from auto trim and didn't like it because the brake light stops halfway up the red cover and doesn't show the whole logo from top to bottom. they made the lettering too big, for me anyway. So I took a 1" peice of grip tape and cut out the logo my self. It covers all of the light and you can see all of the lettering. Looks pretty good. Just another idea to throw out there. ? (y)

Here is a pic of my 3rd brake light.

I had my brother-in-law make it for me at the shop he works at.

Here is a pic of my 3rd brake light decal. I got it from our club member TribalAV, he makes them at his shop.

TNAV03 and Hoss my brother-in-law does not work there anymore, but you can get them from Tribal AV he will make them and mail them out to you.

Installation update- get one of those plastic cups from Sonic or What-a-Burger or Jack's ans squirt in small amount of dishsoap and lots of warm water. Dip in the entire Av decal after you remove the backing exposing the glue and you can move that sticker 'til the cows come home. Beware- it takes about 4 hours to dry so do not even think of pealing off the front coveing until it is dry. I probably soaped it too much but had absolutely zero problems getting it where it needs to be for visibililty. The real reason it seems invisible from the rear is not so much placement but the elevation angle of the Av rear. If I cannot even see some of those idiots behind me on the bumper they will never see ANY 3rd light, with or without decals. That's why using a LOF is ideal- they can see the LOF even if the 3rd brake light decal is not readily visible. Hope this helps. Seems to me it was the warm water and not as much the dish soap liquid that improved installation.

i did buy one from ebay and it stucked. be very careful when putting it on. but when you step on the brake, it is hard to read the words because half of the word is facing up. the picture on ebay is very misleading. the design of the sticker sucks. good luck
