Lighted Bowtie?

I noticed on some of the pictures members have a bowtie that has the flag on it. Was that done just fo rthe photo or can you really purchase that? If so how much and whre can I get one.

Has anyone put a lighted bowtie on the front?

Check the sticky thread above by SKIDD...there is several topics on new bowties...also a site partner sells the flag bowtie under the store page....

I have not seen or read where anyone has installed the lighted bowtie yet.....

Now a NEON bow tie would be neat!!!! GOO GOO calling GOO GOO NEON BOWTIE

If you check the list of topics in this "Accessories" section you will notice that the first four topics in this forum have a push pin icon beside them. They are "stuck" at the top, while all the other "unsticky" ones are sorted in chronological order by last reply.

This keeps the frequently asked questions type of subjects at the top.

I have seen illuminated bow ties on the 1998 body style silverados but not on the avalanche, but I'm sure it's not impossible.

OK The good news is I found a place that sells light bowties.

The bad news they only go up to 1999I will try to research the mfg to see if they are going to make one for the AV in the near future.

Well, if someone wanted one badly enough it would cost $40 - $50 to buy the kit and then see about using it on their existing Bowtie.

If it was something I wanted I wouldn't hesitate to do it.

Personally I like my two bowties (I painted my original gold one to match my Av's paint and I'm now running a fluttering flag Bowtie).
