Hey,

Shortly before I installed my Snakeeyes, I installed a pair of backup lights on my trailer hitch that I found at PepBoys for $30. They're powered from the trailer harness the same way as the Snakeeyes are. I've noticed something really cool. As I back up to an obstruction like a car or a wall the lights create a double shadow of my trailer hitch ball. As I get closer the two shadows merge toward the hitchball. By watching the shadows I can easily judge when I'm about to touch the obstruction! A little bit of perspective can help alot!

OOOH, good idea! ;D

I'm thinking of the Snakeeyes kit myself, but was wondering about extra lighting for it.

I guess you've proven, once again, that two heads (lightheads) are better than one!
