this was sort of a last minute thought when I had my cladding painted.  I had the aluminium diamond plate steps, but didn't want them with the new paint.

its not a spot-on match, but it goes great with the EXT tailgate trim piece.

I like that.  Did you sand down the original plastic plate or are these different ones?

I can't get my ext grab handles on???? ?I was just thinking of this but Kurt said he had 1/2 can of gatorback black. I'll sponge that on my steps and bedpanels. Only places that the cladding isn't painted ?

Line ex looks good.

Looks good... I like it!

What is that piece on top of the tailgate?  Is that something specific to the EXT?

yeah, thats the EXT tailgate trim.  It came with the EXT cladding kit.

I'm still digging through all of the extra pieces for the spare tire crank door.  I'm thinking it might have been 'misplaced' during the painting.

That piece should have been painted too!  Oh well, should be easy enought to take care of yourself... if you have a door.

true... might relocate my trailer connector there... not that I ever plan on using it.

Did you consider getting the cargo panels Line X'd?

Shayne
thought about it.  One set will be smoothed and painted... not sure about the other set.

they're aluminium.  they just coated them with the Line-X stuff.

Looks great man. The contrast is nice and the tailgate strip looks like a spot on match. Nice job.  (y)

I've been looking for the EXT trim piece, since I got my panels painted, but the dealers all look at me like I'm crazy when I ask for it.? If you happen to know a part number that would be great.
