Little Rock River Market

The misses and I are travelling next weekend and Little Rock is the perfect half way point to take an overnight break.  What can anyone tell me about the River Market area in LR?  Worth stopping there for a night of fun or is there a better place for us to stay in town?

Usually we stop in Bryant, but with no kids we are not going there due to the dry county thing.    Thanks,

If you are wanting to just go out and eat some good bar food and enjoy some good music I would suggest these places.
Big Whiskey's Bar & Grill

Ernie Bigg's Chicago Style Dueling Piano Bar
Sticky Fingerz Rock-N-Roll Chicken Shack
Underground Pub
Willy D's Dueling Piano Bar

Just be careful walking around late. There are some panhandlers that are pretty aggressive.I've heard from some of my friends that work in that area that some people have been attacked (beaten and shot)
