As stated, on the driver's side of the oil pan at the rear of the engine - it is nestled up into the pan, hiding a bit.

If you're changing your oil - two tips:

1. As the oil stream lessens while draining, it has a habit of draining down the edge of the pan and getting on the top of the skid plate. Put something over the edge of the skid plate to keep oil off.

2. A lot . . I mean a LOT . . of oil remains above the filter even with the pan drained. Punch a hole in the filter to drain it before removing - much neater.

P.S. IMO - save the beer 'til after working on the Av . ;D

I?d have to skip #2. ?If I don't get an oil bath and ruin my t-shirt I won't be able to prove to momma that I wasn't just out in the garage drinking beer! ?;D

Those direction don't work. By step 9 I couldn't tell the difference between the beer can and the oil cans. The weird part is my beer tasted like Guiness.

And I didn't buy Guiness.
