Been forever and a day since I was able to get time to stop by. Avalanche is doing alright but is needing some minor attention. But for running a little over 190k miles and still beimg able to give me 18-20Hmpg, I'm not complaining one bit. You can bet I'm doing everything I can to stay on top of extending the life of this truck

I'm goong to start keeping an eye on future gatherings in the Portland area. Since I drive thru there all the time anyway, I'd like to find a chance to meet other owners

I do have to buy another one sometime. Since telling the wife I was inspired by the white prerunner Avy, she said I can't do that until I get a second one ...  as if that's a bad thing. HA!

Hey welcome back! I'm glad to hear the Avy is still running strong.  :B:  Mine just hit 60k and I love it as much as day one. We don't make it that far north often but we will look you up if we do. JVZL1 is from your neck of the woods and I would be surprised if he didn't pop on here and say hello too. I'm in North Bend if you ever make it to the southern coast.

Glad to here you and your Avy are doing well.
Hope we can have some small meets when the weather gets better. Would be nice to meet, I will try and give a shout when I?m over in GOD?S country.
The foreigners up north usually have a Cable?s GTG coming up in the spring. I have not looked when the one opens in Tualatin yet we should have on there when it opens.

ANT,
Your out it hasn?t hit 70 yet.
He lives on the other side of the mountain.

I don't live in portland but drive thru there a lot. My work takes me all over the PNW

Starting on replacing the ball joints this morning. Not looking forward to it. I replace the D side but have bent two balljoint presses doing it. And the upper joit's boot came loose when reinstalling - didn't see that then so i'm replacing it. Not real sure how hard the lower joint is going to fight me. I bought a HF 20T press to help but I'm also not thrilled with removing the lower control arm

Lots to do in a short weekend! Gotta run!

So when I'm ready to do mine you will be the expert and willing to do mine.
Are you up grading are going OME?

Both uppers are done and were as easy as it looked. I already had one lower replaced, when I bent the second C-clamp press, and wasn't sure if I even wanted to remove the other lower control arm. Thankfully, that lower joint is ok for the time being. It will still be replaced soon, but after I secure me some air tools... No way I'm going to mess with the keys without the almighty power of air
