Just bought the Av a few weeks ago, got the tent and we're looking to try it out. Not too familiar with PA, can someone suggest places to do some light offroading and secluded camping?

Thank you!

That's actually only a 2.5 hour drive, not bad at all! Have you been there?

(y) Guys I work with and I go there Twice a Year - The Falls in the rear of the Site are Really Nice . lots of space and plenty To Do -Volley ball, Base ball, basket ball, Small game Room etc..

Hey, another Delco person! ;D

I would recommend Rickett's Glen State Park. Years ago, when I was still in camping mode, I used to take my pop-up there. If you have canoe or kayak, you can go out on Lake Jean. There are also miles and miles of hiking trails there. If you are in good shape, you can take the hike down the falls. There are a number of falls on this hike and some terrific wooded settings.

FYI, pmcard and I are meeting today at 4pm at the Wawa in Clifton Heights on Baltimore Pike across from Home Depot. You, and anyone else, are welcome to join us! ;D

I'm actually looking to go camping with the new Av the weekend of the 20th, If someone would like to get something informal together I would be willing to go 3-3 1/2 hrs. from LI NY. I really don't know to much about which campgrounds are good, but I prefer ones that don't park you in a field of grass and you have from point a to b. I like something more private and woodsy.

Codurus State Park in York County (Near Hanover) is a great state park nearby.

Does the tent have access to the passenger compartment through a zippered door?

Can you send me or post some photos of the tent? I was thinking about getting one.
