Looking good - CLADDING

There is a mountain of threads about cladding fade and restoration methods on this website most of them in the maintenance section I believe.
The method depends on your pocketbook and time. First of all there is no "for good" method since any one method has pluses and minuses......
Many owners use  product called Refinish Restorer since it appears to last longer than other liquid or paste products. There is a site member that used to give a member discount too. It is important to follow prep procedures for best results though. You may need to reaply once or twice a year for best results.

Other members who got tired of the periodic application stuff went all the way to sanding the cladding smooth and painting. That had various results and of course now made the cladded area sensitive to scratching and had to be waxed just like any other painted surface. Those who didn't have the tiime or ability to sand the cladding themselves bought Cadillac EXT smooth cladding and had it painted. That was relatively quick and best results but it can get expensive. About $2,000 in parts needed to do it right and then painting costs too.
Good luck with whatever method you choose.

+1 for the Carworx Refinish Restorer product.
