Looking to Build Sub Box - Plans?

I want a new box, or maybe even a mid-gate box... I have a 2005 Av with the 60/40 seats... OLD BOXES ARE TRASH FROM eBAY, I SENT THEM BACK!  No worries, I'd like to do it myself but I dont have all the materials to make 1 and then find out my measurments were off... and I dont want to chew through my midgate so when time comes I can sell my truck stock but if ANYONE has any plans for the 2005 Avalanche Sub Box or Mid Gate Box Please post them or atleast give me info on where to buy them.  Thank you.  Not interested in Jl Audio Stealthbox... New Car, Tight Budget, and Im a good carpenter.

qive been looking and i found lots of threads but none with actual working blueprints and measurments and what not... thats what im looking for are the plans for a mid gate box or underseat box, just the dimensions for an 05 av box...

I took out my midgate last night to take measurements to cut make a new one.  Any tricks to this or should I just trace the outline of the midgate onto a piece of 3/4" mdf and start cutting?

It looks like I can just screw the new midgate box in using the hinges from the factory midgate.  I'm only planning on putting 3 JL10W3's in the midgate so weight shouldn't be a problem because the factory midgate is really heavy. 

Right now I'm driving around without a midgate and my subbox sitting in the bed... it sounds really boomy because the bed acts like a really big box and it really booms.  The 10's sound like 15's.

Anyway....I just wanted to show some interest in the midgate blueprints if anyone has any. .. or if anyone has any advice on building a midgate box.  Thanks!
