Does anyone know how much fuel is in the tank, or how many kms.one can go after the low fuel light has come on.

Don't know wether you have the 1500 or 2500, but in the 2500 the light goes on @ 4 gals - about 40 - 50 miles.

For the 1500 the light comes on with about 3-4 gallons left.
Mileage will vary but I figure only 2-3 useable gallons and 15 MPG highway so 30-45 miles.
In other words find GAS fast or figure out how to use the onstar button. LOL

Good to know - I was actually ready to ask this question. One thing I like about my Fords, a low gas light on meant you needed to find a gas station in a say a day or two (unless you were on a highway drive). When I bought my S-10 in 95 I ran it dry three separate times. When the low fuel light comes on in a GM product, don't mess around!
