I'm close to buying 1 and wanted to see what and from who did you get the best interest rate for 5 or 6 years.

I have really good credit so I know I qualify.

thanks

GMAC has 0% for 60 months.......cannot get much better than that

I got 3.78% plus the $4500 off for 60 months...I remember reading someone getting 3.75% but I don't think I've heard any lower. Of course this all depends on your credit rating. If it's less than perfect these numbers won't apply.

Take all rebates and check your local credit unions to find your lowest rate. Get preapproved before going to the dealer. That way there is no messing with the F&I folk. At the CU I work for, our best rate for 60 months is 3.74% with no porcessing or application fees. You should be able to find 4.0% or less. That will be your best deal.

That's not with rebates though, correct?

The 0% deal has been either take rebate or take 0%, not a combination.

Hey there, I see you're in Aliso Viejo. Why don't you stop by Tustin Chevrolet and see me... we're "Fast-Track"ed with several banks and CUs, so we can shop around for the best rate available for you. We're off I-5 at Tustin Ranch Road, and we have about 20 Avs in stock, everything from a base to a loaded Z71.... and we're more than happy to do a locate at no cost.

Just come in and ask for Johnny...as a fellow CAFCNA member, I'll take care of ya.

At the end of July I got a 3.49% for 60 months from Sovereign Bank, PA, no fees, and took the $4500 GM rebate. The dealer found me the rate. I live in NH, bought in CT and financed with a bank in PA.

Even if you can't get as low of a rate, I am always inclined to take the rabate when the money difference is close. With a rebate you get the benefit immediatly. With a 0% APR you have to wait through the whole loan term to reap the rewards, and if during that time your truck is stolen or totalled you have nothing to show for it. "A bird in the hand is worth ....."

Holy cow, sounds like you got an awesome deal $2,000 under invoice is unreal - congrats. Also, how did you get a $5,500 rebate?

I assume the $4,000 GM rebate + $100 GM Loyalty + what else + $5,500.

If it was a while ago, it could've been...

4000 GM Rebate
+1000 GM Loyalty
+ 500 Conquest Rebate (for owning a non-GM car.... some dealerships let this stack)
------------------------
=5500 in total rebates.
