LTZ Autoride

Just an FYI, but suncore has a complete 4 wheel conversion to regular shocks with a preloaded front struts/springs and sensor overide for a rediculously cheap 235 bucks on fleabay. Anyone try this? Im at 55k, and dont think anything is wrong yet, but warranty is done in 6 months. Suncore any good? Im never gonna trade this truck, but I may do a mild lift with the bilstein 5100/moog springs, and possibly a switch to 18" 33s in a few years after the new michelins go. Thicker tire sidewalls will improve ride as good as any shock imho. My 11 ls was same or better with 17s vs ltz with 20s and autoride...

I've read most of this thread and a lot of others on different forums.  Looking at converting my 14 LTZ Burb to conventional springs and Bilsteins.  I'd like to go with the Z71 Springs in the rear, can anyone provide a part number.  I'm going to set the front bilsteins at 2.1" not 2.8".  So I believe I'll retain some rake.  Last question:  why do most aftermarket sites only list Burbs and Avs through 13 and make no mention of 14?  Is the 14 identical in every way to the 13?

Hi Sam I am,
I don't know the part numbers for you but as far as mentioning the model years is that the AV stopped in 2013 so you won't find any newer and I don't know about Suburban differences after 2013 either....maybe someone with a 2014 or newer Suburban will answer soon.

After spending several days reading through this thread and all the useful info contained here I decided to go with Arnott Rebuilds with a new Arnott compressor on our 2013 LTZ. The factory shocks have gone back up and I need to make my dollars stretch for now. The 2 rebuilt shock and compressor were $503.00 after the core return on both shocks. I put some Arnott air springs on the 2004 Buick Rainier we had and never had another issue with the air springs the 7 years we owned the vehicle so that helped sway me to the Arnott path. While I was installing the shocks yesterday I discovered that my left rear spring is broke! Now I have the spring on order and it doesn't look too bad to replace. So far the new shocks and compressor are working properly. The ride is a bit rough but I expect that to change once I get a spring back in the left rear. Currently the air ride is compensating for the lack of a left rear spring. Thanks all for the great info here. (y)

Best to replace in pairs so the spring rates, free length etc are close to being the same for ride height and comfort being similar side to side

Ya, I thought about that but I'm a little tight on funds due to being on short term disability for a broken foot. I'll probably do the other one later this fall after I get back to work, The shocks, compressor and spring stretched things in the slush fund dept.

I am thinking of replacing my rears with the Arnott AS-2715's. Does anyone have any opinions on them? They seem to be the replacement model for the AS-2700 that is no longer available. I haven't been able to any information on what shock they are using for it, i.e., the 2700s were Bilsteins. Any insight or reviews would be greatly appreciated.
