Simple enough.
Just an easy way to make sure our new and our old friends know that we have made it home.

Made it home fine after a cruise thru Gatlinburg  after we left. Almost had an Oh $%#@ moment on I-40 just before the NC state line. A semi had broken down in the right hand lane in one of the blind turns. I could see his top running lights on the trailer but not hazard flashers due to the wall height. I had moved to the passing lane to go around him as I approached but the speeding car attempting to pass me on the right didn't see him and really had an Oh $%&* moment.

Glad you made it ok.
I can why that area is so troublesome at times.

Made it home as well. Didn't have any issues along the way.
Missing everyone already.

Me too. Home safe and sound.

We are home safe and sound. Missing everyone already... it's especially hard when you know it will probably  be years before you see some of your  friends again. :needhug:

Just got home and unloaded most everything except my tools and chairs.  We did the extended version of the scenic drive through the Smokies then did some moonshine sampling and shopping at the Island.  Google Maps graciously routed us on some twisty back countries roads that avoided the strip and took us into Knoxville before heading north.  It was a great weekend.  We enjoyed seeing some of you again and meeting others for the first time.

I got home safe and sound late this afternoon.  It was really great to see old friends and meet new friends.    (y)

Miss Iron butt just crossed the Arkansas/Texas State Line

We made it home about 8PM last night. Got in some very hard rain around the Ohio river and saw 2 bad wrecks, first had 5 cars sandwiched together. Second had a van on its top, hope everyone was OK!

We hit some on the north end of TN.  We had about 30 feet visibility.  Thankfully, there were no wrecks.

Stopped for lunch at Wendy's just north of Charleston WV and saw member sinjin in the parking lot.
Did not know it was him until we started talking about Avalanches and the club.

ABS light came on about 170 miles from home.
Got some heavy rain about 30 miles from home.

Home OK yesterday about 4:45.

ABS light a lot of times = a wheel bearing going out.

Got home at 6:00 AM this morning. Started work at 7:00 AM. I can barely keep my eyes open but the trip was worth all of that. And yes we are already missing some great friends on this end.

Went camping Saturday night with my new AV tent thanks to Moosc!
Tried to go to Waffle House (Next to Volunteer Chevy...parked next to that BD Avy they had at the GTG), but the line was out the door...opted for Dunkin' Donuts...but it was slim pickin's in there...they ran out of just about everything!
Then took the boys to Garrett's Muscle Car museum and picked up a cool AVALANCHE hat while there.

Made it home about 6pm

Hmm...would that explain the squealing I hear on my truck that sounds like low brake pads?
All my pads are fairly new...but that darn ABS light came on this morning also and I keep hearing that stupid squealing!
That light has been going on and off for weeks now.

Yes, as the wheel bearing fails it will spill out metal filings that will stick to the ABS sensor and mess with its readings. Sometimes you can check it same way as you used to check for bad ball joints, jack the wheel off the ground and pry it up with a big bar to see where the play is.  USE JACK STANDS!!

LOL ARMYtango. I just realized that the LED headlight bulbs and the KC Hilites are still in the back of my truck.
I also forgot to get the Billet knobs I wanted to get from Ian. There was just so much stuff going on, it's one of those things that slipped my mind.

If you want me to, I'll ship them.

Yes!!!  The front hubs are going out. Won't be long either if they are squealing before if fails and the caliber locks down. Trust me even at a low speed like 10mph it will put a flat spot on the tire. I was on the way to get the hubs once when one of mine went out.

Unfortunately I too came home with all most everything I was suppose to give to others.
At least joeairforce got his bedpanelbag

And I meant to ask you about them, because I wasn't sure if you had brought them or not...lol
Yeah, please let me know what you would like to ship them.

Hmm...I am mechanically inclined enough to do something myself, but unless I have done it before, I am a complete newbie...
Could it be in the rear?  And how difficult is it to change out?
