Made it home safe....

We got home about 5:30pm last night-total of 1853 miles!!  Whew..and my av says "change the oil!"  Back to work this morning which will be hard because my mind is still at Tybee Island..

Loved meeting everyone-look forward to doing this again....soon!

Got home last night around 8 after an easy drive up to NC, and an uneventful flight to NY.  Spent some quality time with Paula before an early turn in.

Thanks to everyone for making my first STI an absolute blast.

It was great meeting so many new people and putting faces to names.

Thanks to Moddess, JohnB and LA for trusting me to help with the modding; I learned a lot and really enjoyed it.

Judging for the awards was a lot of fun.  Everyone has put so much into their Av.

So much more went on, and so many people made this the best GTG I've been to.  I don't want to forget anyone, so I'll just say thanks to you all.

Hugz and Vic, wow, what more can I say?  You did a fantAVstic job with STI.  I'm glad you're getting some well deserved time for yourselves.

Can't wait for Nationals.  Paula and I WILL be there.  100 Avs!!  100 Avs!!  (y)

This was without a doubt the best GTG to date. ?Dinner Wednesday night, Ghost tour Thursday, to the club on Friday, dinner with a few of my closest friends on Saturday.

Dave, David, Steve, Kyle, Tommy, Jess, Monique, Scott, Jessica, Larry (did I miss anyone? ?I was drinking a lil).... a special thanks to all of you for the great night out. ?I dont think I could have picked a better group of people to go out with. ?I hope we didn't scare off the GTG noobs. ?

I'd agree with the statement...even though this was actually my first real GTG

after an uneventful trip up I95 with Allen and Brenda. I had a good time but it was nice to get home to the family that was waiting with banners.

We made it home last night about 11:30.  We made a stop at a toy store in Atlanta (Summit Racing), dinner in Chattanooga, and a brief stop over at Avalanche Fox/Wolf's house to show off our tattoos.  Fantastic time as always.  Covered up and work now, but will post more tonite.

Did somebody say NATIONALS?  >:D

We made it in safe about an hour ago.
Doing the unpacking and putting stuff away thing.

Managed to get in a convoy of NASACR haulers this morning on I-20 in LA.
Followed them almost all the way to the house.
This weekend the races are at Texas Motor Speedway, just up the road from us.

I'll post a couple of pics later.
Gotta run to Home Depot to pick up some wood for a couple of orders I got at STI.

Vetman

BTW, the tripmeter read 2308.2 when I looked at it.

I hope Pete & I are on your order list.? Those flag holders you make are so nice!? We are wanting to get one for Pete's dad for Christmas.

I guess I should have posted this earlier but, I'm mildly retarded and forgot . . .
We made it home at about 11pm Sunday night; after a grueling 14 hours almost non-stop behind the wheel.

Hey I resemble that remark! But isn't that like being mildly impregnated and forgetting how you got that way. Wouldn't still recovering from a STI-V hang over and sleep deprivation sound better?

I made it home Sunday too!  Just is case anybody actually cares!  >:D
